OPEN CALL: Climate Change Quilt Project

We invite you to join our effort to raise awareness through art and community engagement for climate change action.Ìý

We are kicking off a project to create a Climate Change Quilt, in the belief that collective action can bring awareness to the problems caused by climate change,ÌýprovideÌýsolutions to climate change, andÌýcommunicateÌýour hopes for the future.Ìý

Here is how you can help the effort to amplify voices and create awareness of the impacts of climate change.Ìý

  • Propose a quilt design. We are accepting design submissions via email (greenoffice@fus.edu)ÌýuntilÌýMarch 31, 2026. PleaseÌýsubmitÌýyour design as a pdf that includes quilt size,ÌýdesignÌýand any specific instructions.Ìý

  • Contribute to the creation of the quilt.ÌýLet us know if you would like to be involved in making a part of the quilt and we will include you in the quilt making process. The solutions to climate change will involve people working together. WeÌýendeavorÌýto make this project a collective effort as well. The winning design will be based on both the technical feasibility of creating the quilt and the artistic communication of the Climate Change Quilt themes.  We are looking forward to your design submissions!Ìý
